Losing Weight Without a Diet

Often time’s people who become slightly overweight want nothing better then to lose those extra pounds as quickly as they possibly can. Unfortunately, that is not entirely within the realms of reality and as a result the person tends to gain additional weight. Soon the situation is out of control and the person’s weight problem has sky-rocketed to the point of being dangerous.

You may even be one of those people who have dieted in the past and failed thus just the thought of a diet leaves a bad taste in your mouth. You may now believe that no diet can help you at all and that losing weight is impossible. You claim to have come through the various trials and tribulations and you are still as overweight as you were when you started. Well, this is no reason to give up. As we have said you can lose the weight if you apply yourself.

If you picture yourself as one of these people then you have likely tried many of the advertised alternatives towards losing weight and in fact you may still be seeking the magic bullet to put your weight at the level that it once was.

Sadly, you will not find that magic remedy, the amazing diet pills or any other solution for losing weight and resolving your problem. You will however lose those extra pounds if and only if you yourself have the proper desire, the continual persistence and are armed with an abundance of valuable and accurate information relating to losing weight.

In order for your diet to be completely successful it must find its way into the boundaries of your normal day by day activities and habits. It must incorporate your ability to eat your meals in a familiar and traditional social setting. If your diet completely excludes your favorite "taboo" foods or places your usual fast food restaurant off limits then your diet is set to fail from the very beginning.

This fact is merely human nature. When you are told there are certain things that you can not have or that you can not do then naturally your sub-conscious will take over and want it even more so. This is simply human nature and it occurs in all of us. Humans want those things that they can not have. If you manage to remove those items from us then we merely want them even more so and develop cravings and desires that tend to overwhelm us.

So therefore our first major point here is not to place particular foods or eating places off limits but merely to curve them and make the proper adjustments in our lifestyle for them. We do not want to initially modify our eating behavior drastically when we are in the process of losing weight. Our diet plan should adapt to our lifestyle and not the other way around. Let’s take a notebook and write the following notes in large letters.

1. I will not give up my restaurants nor my fast food establishments
2. I will continue to have meals with my friends and family members
3. I will still attend my business luncheons as I have always done
4. I will not do away with those foods that I crave and like
5. I will not prepare special diet foods in order to lose weight

As you can see it isn’t necessary to modify your life to any great extent in order to lose those extra pounds. You will need to take part in two very important actions. You must cut back on your food intake as well as to try an obtain some daily exercise time. Follow these simple rules and you will find that you are looking and feeling better each and every day.

There is no shortage of weight loss products on the market today. Even if you limit yourself to searching online, you will still find a lot of options. And a lot of the weight loss plans out there do work. But sometimes it can be a job in itself finding the right diet for you. A weight loss plan that will not only help you lose weight, but not harm your body, and also be ideal for your health. Regardless of which program you choose for yourself, you have to stick to the basics of dieting, otherwise losing weight isn’t going to be easy. In this article I will share 5 basics of effective dieting and weight loss.

1. Metabolic rate is a key to weight loss: Always remember your body’s metabolic rate will determine the amount of weight loss you will accomplish at any given time. For some people with a high metabolic rate, you can lose weight easier. Even while you are resting. On the other hand, those people with slow metabolic rates should find ways to increase it. One option is using fat loss supplements.

2. Exercising regularly is a must: Even if you stick to your diet, you wont to be able to lose weight if all you do is lay around all day watching television. You should exercise regularly and don’t skip work out sessions. If harder exercises such as cardio and resistance training are harder for you, start with aerobics. When done correctly, aerobics help burn fat as much as cardio. If you cant do exercises at all, regularly walking alone will help with weight loss.

3. Never attempt to lose weight to quickly: Your probably in a hurry to get into those old jeans but losing weight too fast can affect you health in negative ways. Losing 1 to 2 pounds a week is ideal. If you think you are losing weight to fast, it would be a good idea to see your doctor.

4. Eat foods low in fat: Every weight loss expert will tell you this bit of advice. Eating fatty foods and junk foods high in sugar, only make your situation worse. So stay away from the bad stuff.

5. People with hereditary obesity problems have to work harder. If you are overweight, as well as your parents, you will have to work harder to slim down. It may be a harder battle but you can do it!

Body cleansing diets and supplements like the <a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.my-acai-berry-success.com/”> acai berry </a> to be all the rage right at the moment; movie stars, celebrities and ordinary folks alike are jumping up and down in joy over the acclaimed benefits of detoxing your body and ridding it of all those unwanted chemicals we have spent many years accumulating in our systems. Insecticides, preservatives, fats, chemicals, hormones and the like tend to get stored in our bodies for years, and lots of people say that the key to losing weight, feeling better, functioning the way nature intended, and enjoying a greater feeling of wellness is to is to embark on reliable recipes for detox diets.

If you thought (like many people) that detoxification was only meant as a method for bringing  alcohol abusers and drug users down off their chemical dependencies, you would only be partially correct. But this is not the case with detoxifying diets and formulas. Formulas for detox diets are designed to clean our body’s system of impurities that build up from the food we consume and even the air we inhale.  Generally, detoxification systems are formulated to cleanse the liver and colon, where impurities tend to accrue.

Health-boosting wholesome soups of various kinds can also be used for detox diets. ‘Alkaline’ and Gazpacho soups are used by thousands of people frequently for effective colon detoxification and general body cleansing. An alkaline diet is a diet that relies very heavily on nuts, legumes, and vegetables, which have little or no ‘acidifying’ effect on the body, and all of which help to keep things moving along in the digestive tract. Thus, these are highly beneficial ingredients for any detox soup recipe.

Diet and Hygiene

A proper diet can go a long way toward fighting a current yeast infection and preventing a future outbreak.  Avoid sugars, foods made of white flour, and all processed foods.  You should also try to limit caffeine and alcohol as much as possible.  Steer more toward green, leafy vegetables, fish, chicken, and yogurt.  

Change quickly after showering or working out.  Also, make sure to dry thoroughly after showering.  Try to avoid wearing clothes made of synthetic fibers.  These fibers trap heat and moisture, which is an ideal breeding ground for a yeast infection.  

Keep the vaginal area as dry as possible by wearing loose clothing.  Wear cotton underwear, or none at all.  Lastly, try incorporating more skirts into your wardrobe.

You can dab apple cider vinegar on the affected areas for some quick relief.  The apple cider is pretty strong so make sure to dilute it with water.  Add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to 8 ounces of water.  Adding garlic will further help to kill the yeast and relieve the burning and itching.  

Yogurt and Curds

This next home remedy is one of the best.  Just mix some yogurt with curds and coat a tampon with this.  Then insert vaginally.  The naturally healthy bacteria in this mix will help to restore the normal balance of bacteria to yeast in your system.  You can do this 2 to 3 times a day.  

Cranberry Juice

This is also one of the better natural remedies.  Just drink a couple glasses of unsweetened, not from concentrate, cranberry juice per day.  The cranberry juice will help to flush the dead yeast cells from your body.  It also prevents the remaining yeast from clinging to the inside walls of the vagina.  Unable to hang on, they get flushed out.  

You also should drink plenty of water to further flush out the yeast.   

Olive Extract and Grapefruit Seed Extract

Mix both of these extracts into a glass of water and consume 2- 3 times per day.  This is pretty powerful weapon in the war on yeast.  

Tea Tree Oil

This method has you saturating a tampon with tea tree oil and then inserting the tampon into the vagina.  If you want to use less tea tree oil, first coat the tampon with olive oil or KY Jelly.  This will prevent the tampon from absorbing the tea tree oil.  Then add a few drops of the tea tree oil.  

Garlic Cloves

Garlic is a very powerful antifungal agent.  One popular method is to clean and peel a clove, wrap it in gauze or cheesecloth, and insert vaginally overnight.  Or you can rub the clove on the affected areas.  I have to warn you that it may sting.
