Vaginal bacteriosis, otherwise known as bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the result of the modification and the lack of proper coordination between the healthy bacteria which constitute the vagina. In unsound conditions, vaginal bacteriosis may result from the growing abundance of harmful anaerobic bacteria such as Gardnerella vaginalis, Mobiluncas and Mycoplasma. These bacteria dominate the healthy aerobic bacteria such as those of the Lactobacillus species.

Initially indicated by a fishy smell and vaginal execution, more drastic uneasiness felt by woman may include itching, irritation and cramping.

Some of the reasons why bacteria are lowered in intensity and amount are due to various reasons such as multiple and/or female sex partners, use of a medicating agent such as a douche, use of the intrauterine device for the control of birth and smoking. Usually these methods affect the pH level within the vagina thus allowing more harmful anaerobic bacteria to develop.

Vaginal bacteriosis may lead to many severe problems such as preterm labor or a miscarriage during pregnancy. If conditions are grave enough to enhance a pelvic or reproductive tract infection, it may cause PID, put one at a more risk of HIV, etc.

Often, in women who do get vaginal bacteriosis, healthy bacteria eventually start to regenerate. However, it does to tend to reappear especially to women applied with antibiotics.

Steps should be taken to prevent vaginal bacteriosis and allow relief for the woman subjected to it as it is not only painful and frustrating but morally harmful as well. If you have it, cure it now.

Vaginal bacteriosis, also called bacterial vaginosis (BV) result when the bacteria in the vagina changes and becomes uncoordinated within the vagina. When the bacteria is in unfavorable conditions, vaginal bacteriosis can happen because of a large amount of dangerous anaerobic bacteria like mobiluncas, gardnerella vaginalis, or mycoplasma multiplying. Like in the Lactobacillus species, the harmful bacteria takes control of the healthy bacteria.

The first thing that women will notice is a fishy smell and drainage from the vaginal area, then it may increase to irritation, itching, and some cramping.

A couple of explanations for the lowered amount and intensity of the bacteria could be multiple sex partners, multiple female sex partners, the utilization of a douche which has medical agent in it, or a birth control device that is used intrauterine. Each of these ways will affect the pH level in the woman’s vagina, which will increase the amount of dangerous bacteria in the vagina.

Vaginal bacteriosis could cause some serious issues, like miscarriages during a pregnancy or early labor. If this condition gets bad enough to cause a reproductive tract or pelvic infection, the result could be PID, an increased chance of getting HIV, and more.

Most of the time, women who get vaginal bacteriosis will eventually have aerobic bacteria start to come back. The condition reappears most often in women who have been on antibiotics.

Women should attempt to prevent vaginal bacteriosis, but also seek treatment if they do get it, because it is a very dangerous, painful, and frustrating condition to have. It is important that if you have vaginal bacteriosis that you get it cured.
