Welcome back!
Vaginal bacteriosis, otherwise known as bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the result of the modification and the lack of proper coordination between the healthy bacteria which constitute the vagina. In unsound conditions, vaginal bacteriosis may result from the growing abundance of harmful anaerobic bacteria such as Gardnerella vaginalis, Mobiluncas and Mycoplasma. These bacteria dominate the healthy aerobic bacteria such as those of the Lactobacillus species.
Initially indicated by a fishy smell and vaginal execution, more drastic uneasiness felt by woman may include itching, irritation and cramping.
Some of the reasons why bacteria are lowered in intensity and amount are due to various reasons such as multiple and/or female sex partners, use of a medicating agent such as a douche, use of the intrauterine device for the control of birth and smoking. Usually these methods affect the pH level within the vagina thus allowing more harmful anaerobic bacteria to develop.
Vaginal bacteriosis may lead to many severe problems such as preterm labor or a miscarriage during pregnancy. If conditions are grave enough to enhance a pelvic or reproductive tract infection, it may cause PID, put one at a more risk of HIV, etc.
Often, in women who do get vaginal bacteriosis, healthy bacteria eventually start to regenerate. However, it does to tend to reappear especially to women applied with antibiotics.
Steps should be taken to prevent vaginal bacteriosis and allow relief for the woman subjected to it as it is not only painful and frustrating but morally harmful as well. If you have it, cure it now.
